“I didn’t adopt her…she adopted me”: A bengal cat’s sudden visits spark a week of chaos, only to reveal she’d lived across the street all along

Cats, and especially Bengal cats are just inexplicable enigmas. You will never know what is going through their minds, nor why they choose to do the things that they do, not how they end up in the situations they find themselves in. and in true classic cat style today we have a story of a brazen Bengal cat child who decided that his territory deserved to be enlarged, and that he would work to commandeer herself a second home.

And by using some sweet charm and making it look like he did not have another home to spend the cold nights in, she very quickly landed herself a new home and a new hooman. Not only that she actually invaded the home of two other cats, all the while making her new hooman wonder where she came from and why she was with him. The truth ended up being the most cat style thing we have ever come across and wouldn't you believe it, she was his neighbor from across the street all along.

  • Oh Bengals, they truly are the cat breed that is closest to their big cat cousins. They have no boundaries, no limitations and if they decided to do something, there is very little that can be done to stop them. Including setting up camp at a neighbor’s house across the road to double up on attention and feeding. Pretty smart move overall.

  • Oh gosh, this man’s cats must have been terrified. He essentially brought home a tiny tiger, which his tame house cats would have no idea what to make off. It is almost unfair to group Bengal cats and domesticated house cats in the same genus. But hey, at least this catto was spared from the cold.
